We have been waiting for this day for a long time, and it’s FINALLY here! “Pirates in the Port”, a completely brand new event at Historic Bath Site, will be taking place today all over the downtown area from 10am-4pm. Below you will find a complete event schedule. We look forward to seeing ALL of you down here!
10:00 AM –
Pirates sail into the State Dock (Harding’s Landing) off of Main Street.
The British will greet the Pirate’s, arrest them, and march them on down to Bonner’s Point where they will be for the rest of the day until 4:00 PM.
1:00 PM –
Lecture by author, Kevin Duffus, at the St. Thomas Noe Building***
2:00 PM –
Lecture by ECU Anthropology department professor, Dr. Charlie Ewen
at the St. Thomas Noe Building
4:00 PM –
The day’s events are completed.
The Visitor’s Center will be open so that you may enjoy the Blackbeard’s “Queen Anne’s Revenge” exhibit from 9:00am-5:00pm. Tours will be offered as usual for $2 per adult per house and $1 per youth per house.
