Pirates for a Day: The 4-7 Year Old Bunch

Our first “Pirate Past Times Day Camp” occurred last Thursday, June 17th! This was the 4-7 year old group, and my did we have 18 happy and fun loving kids around for 4 hours! They were able to enjoy activities such as “loading” a cannon, dancing, story telling and singing sea chanteys with Mr. Simon Spalding. The kids also had quite a time with making their own masks, eye patches and pirate flags to take home, and playing Pirate Bingo. After the day camp was over, the children were able to go into the exhibits with their new-found friends and families, and they even received a take home bag filled with activities for them!

We had a really great time with this group and we are so looking forward to our 2nd 4-7 year old group on Thursday, July 10th. There are only THREE spots available and pre-registration ends on Thursday, July 3rd….so make sure you call soon so your child can experience all of the fun!

This week begins our 8-11 year old camp… They will be doing some different activities, and we can’t wait to show you how much fun they have during their camp which will take place this Thursday! There’s only 5 more spots for our 8-11 year old camp on July 17 – the pre-registration deadline for this camp is Friday, July 11th. So…again…HURRY!
